Actress Regina Daniels has deactivated her Instagram page following speculation that her husband Ned Nwoko is expecting a child with another actress.
The development comes after Regina returned from London, where she attended the premiere of Ayo Makun’s movie The Waiter.
On Monday, February 17, gossip blog Gistlover stirred social media with claims that a senior actress had welcomed a child for a billionaire, causing the “little billionaire wife” to leave Instagram.
The post read, “Hello Tueh Tueh, GLB Nation! Wahala don happen! Another senior actress don born for billionaire, little billionaire wife don run comot for Instagram.”
While no names were mentioned, many online users speculated that the post was referring to Regina Daniels. Checks on her Instagram confirmed that her account had been deactivated.
Social media users have since weighed in, with some suggesting that Regina should not be surprised by the situation. One commenter wrote, “But why is Regina surprised? She knew what she was getting into.”
Another alleged, “Chika has been dating Ned even before he married Regina. Apparently, he wanted to marry her years ago for publicity, but she declined due to the conditions involved.”
Others mocked the actress saying, “How can wife number six be upset about wife number seven, when wife number five didn’t react?”
Observers also noted that Regina has recently stopped celebrating her husband on social media.
She did not mark Valentine’s Day or publicly acknowledge his political move to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In contrast, her co-wife Laila Charani has been more visible alongside Nwoko in public.
Recall that actress Chika Ike, 39, announced on February 10 that she was expecting her first child, sharing photos of her baby bump.
As of now, Regina, Ned Nwoko and Chika Ike have not commented on the reports.
