Fans of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels have staged a protest demanding that her billionaire husband Ned Nwoko must not take another wife.
On Wednesday Mr Nwoko said Regina was aware he could marry more wives in an interview with BBC Igbo.
“So whether I marry another wife or not; she knows it can happen. I come from a very polygamous environment. I love children so I want more children. She knows this and my other wives know it so we will see what happens in the future,” he said.
Responding to Nwoko, Regina said, “As a matter of fact, my husband Ned Nwoko can marry more wives. It has never been a problem.”
On Saturday QED.ng shared a video of the protest which held in Port Harcourt on Instagram.
“Regina Daniels fans protest against Ned Nwoko marrying another wife,” they captioned the post.
Nwoko and Regina got married in April 2019 and welcomed their first child together in June.
She is his sixth wife.
