Laila Charani, estranged wife of Ned Nwoko, husband of actress Regina Daniels, has tendered a public apology to him and other members of his family.
Laila apologised in an Instagram post on Saturday, saying she has realised her mistakes.
She wrote: “This is to the entire Ned Nwoko family. I have realised that I made mistakes. They were not intentional. I listened too much to outsiders and I have decided to apologised to my husband and members of the family. I want peace and progress in the family.”
The Moroccan beauty queen announced her divorce from Nwoko on November 1, weeks after she unfollowed the 62-year-old and Regina Daniels on Instagram.
According to Laila, Nwoko shifted all attention to Regina and her son and only showed love to her and her children on social media.
The woman who claimed she married Ned as a virgin added that he refused to let her pursue her modeling career after they got married.
Confirming their divorce in an Instagram post on December 8, Nwoko accused Laila of infidelity, child abandonment and domestic abuse
Laila was married to Nwoko for 10 years. They have three children together.
