Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has welcomed a baby boy with husband, Ned Nwoko.
Her brother, Lawrence, first shared the news on Instagram on Monday.
“Officially an uncle, you know? Congratulations my diamond. It’s a bouncing baby boy
Iyanu ti sele. @regina.daniels,” he captioned a picture of the actress cradling her baby bump.
Regina and Ned appeared to confirm the news when they both shared a trailer of their new docu-reality show on the same day on the platform.
They promised that the documentary will give fans a sneak peek into their lives, Regina’s pregnancy and her childbirth.
“Our circle. I present to you, our circle. A docu-reality on our family, business, my pregnancy and childbirth…,” the caption reads.
Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, re-posted the video and thanked fellow actress, Uche Elendu, who congratulated her on the birth of her grandchild in the comments section.
On Sunday it was revealed that Ned and some of Regina’s friends had hosted a baby shower for her.
After months of speculation, Regina and Ned finally confirmed their baby news in separate Instagram posts shared on May 30.
Regina has described pregnancy as an amazing experience, though she has admitted that she is anxious about bringing her child into a world that is dealing with such high levels of police brutality and violence against women.
