Former member of the gospel music group Destined Kids, Rejoice Iwueze, has the knot traditionally with her fiance Oladapo Temitayo Samuel.
The wedding ceremony was held at the bride’s home in Owerri, Imo State on Wednesday, November 16.
Photos and videos from the event were uploaded on social media.
The bride and groom rocked traditional outfits as they danced together while guests at the event cheered them on.
Rejoice had earlier announced the traditional wedding in an Instagram post where she posted photos of the couple rocking matching outfits.
Captioning the photos, she wrote: “It’s a new phase. It’s a new dawn. It’s a new level. It’s a new chapter. This next level is just bubbling in my heart and I’m super excited I’m doing this with you @samtblaze. Let’s do it traditionally today baby.”
The couple announced their engagement in an Instagram post on September 9.
Samuel is a data analyst, farmer and forex expert.
Rejoice and her siblings, Favour, Joshua, Best, Caleb and Wonderful became popular after the release of their hit song ‘Joy Joy Joy’.
She is now a solo gospel artiste.
