Singer Ric Hassani has apologised for throwing shades at his colleagues while hailing Grammy winner Burna Boy.
In a now-deleted post on Twitter, Ric hailed Burna Boy for his performance at the Madison Square Garden in New York, saying the singer has set the standard for others.
He, however, threw shades at other artistes who he accused of always yelling on stage.
The comment sparked reactions from fans of pop star David who believed Ric was throwing shades at their favourite star.
On Sunday, May 1, Ric took to Twitter to apologise for his statement, saying he could have passed his massage in a better way.
“Okay, I took a moment to catch my breathe. I understand those offended, I apologise. I could have passed the message in a better way. Love, always love,” he wrote.
