The Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) 2015 Film Selection Soiree held on Sunday at the Posh Cafe, Victoria Island, Lagos, had A-list celebrities like Rita Dominic, Uche Jombo, Kunle Afolayan, Ebube Nwagbo, Alex Ekubo, Toke Makinwa, Annie Idibia, Swanky Jerry and Michelle Dede in attendance.
AFRIFF 2015 is scheduled to hold between the 8th and 15th of November at Tinapa Resort, Calabar, Cross River State.
According to the organisers, this year’s edition will present opportunities for participants to engage with the media, buyers, distributors and student/ amateur filmmakers.
AFRIFF will reward and acknowledge filmmakers in different categories such Best Student Short, Best Documentary, Best Short Film and Best Authentic Nigerian Feature.
Winners of these categories will also be given monetary prizes.
