Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic, is a year older as she clocked 43 on Thursday.
The University of Port Harcourt graduate took to Instagram to celebrate herself.
She shared a video with the caption, “Cheers to life! 12/07.”
The Suru L’ere actress is a member of the Royal Nwaturuocha family of Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area in Imo State.
She is the youngest of four siblings. Her late parents were medical practitioners; her father was a medical doctor and her mother a nursing officer.
Rita started performing when she was a child, appearing in school plays and children’s television shows in Imo State. She starred in her first movie, A Time to Kill in 1998.
She has starred in over 100 Nollywood productions including Legal War, Immaterial, Caught-up, A Better Place, Yankee Girls, True Lies, White Water, Run Away Prince, Saidi’s Song, Iyore and ’76.
Rita has won awards such as Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, Best of Nollywood Awards, Golden Icon Academy Movies Awards and Africa Internal Film Festival.
