Actress Rita Dominic and her husband Fidelis Anosike has paid a visit to the first-ever winner of Miss Nigeria beauty pageant Grace Atinuke Oyelude in Kwara
Rita disclosed this in an Instagram story on Friday in which she described the meeting as “such precious moments.”
She wrote: “In Kwara State, visiting and spending time with the very first Miss Nigeria. Chief Mrs Grace Oyelude who was crowned in 1957. Such precious moments. Looke out for her interview soon.”
Oyelude was born on November 16, 1931, in Sabon Gari, Kano to James and Martha Oyelude.
She contested with over 200 other Nigerian ladies and won the top prize. She would later use part of her 200 pounds prize money to travel to England, where she studied nursing.
In October 2023, it was announced that The Audrey Silva Company (TASC), a company Rita Dominic co-owns with filmmaker Mildred Okwo, has taken over the organisation of the Miss Nigeria beauty pageant from Folio Communications, owned by Rita’s husband.
