Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie, has announced that she will not be celebrating her birthday in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
She made this known on Instagram on Thursday, explaining that she would spend the day praying for the end of the pandemic instead.
The Bad Blood actress wrote, “…Today 16th April is my birthday but I will not celebrate it because it is only when you are happy you remember to celebrate. I will be on my knees praying to God Almighty for forgiveness. I beg of him to heal our land…”
On April 6, the actress praised Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Ministry for donating food to the less-privileged who are on lockdown over the coronavirus pandemic.
She wrote on Instagram, “The poor masses are beginning to feel the pain, many are starving… This moved my pastor the great Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Ministry to donate food items to the needy… Coronavirus is not for the lion’s family.”
