Actress Rita Edochie has slammed those criticising self-acclaimed activist Verydarkman and blogger Tunde Ednut, following the deactivation of the latter’s Instagram account.
Tunde lost his 7.5 million followers on Monday with Verydarkman who recently came under fire on social media, claiming that the account was brought down because Tunde has been supporting.
Verydarkman has been a topic of discussion among social media users ever since he called out and blasted beauty product seller Jennys Glow. The social media influencers also called out the likes of Nkechi Blessing, Uche Jombo and Blessing CEO for advertising skincare products he claimed they do not use.
He has also been at the forefront of Mohbad’s case and has been championing a DNA test to be carried out on the late singer’s son with the assumption that Mohbad’s wife may have had a hand in his death.
On Wednesday, Rita Edochie posted a video of the activist, saying that people are extremely bittered when the truth is spilt. She added that it is a known fact that she gets dragged and criticised because she always stands for the truth.
She wrote: “IT HAS BECOME A FACT BEYOND DOUBTS THAT AM BEING TROLLED, DRAGGED, ATTACKED AND CRITICISED BECAUSE I ALWAYS STAND FOR THE TRUTH.
“WELL, MY FATHER IN-LAW ALWAYS SAID BEFORE HIS TRANSITION, RITA, WHEN PEOPLE DON’T TALK ABOUT YOU, IT MEANS YOU’RE UNIMPORTANT. WHAT MAKES ONE ESSENTIAL IS HIS OR HER CONTINUED QUALITY AND STATUS OF BEING TALKED ABOUT. WHAT POINT AM I TRYING TO MAKE?”
Speaking further, the Mami Wata star wrote: “IF IT’S INDEED THE CASE THAT MR VERYBLACKDARKMAN IS THE REASON KING TUNDE EDNUT’S PAGE WAS SUSPENDED THEN IT’S A CLEAR JUSTIFICATION OF THIS ASSERTION.
“PEOPLE HATE HEARING THE TRUTH” BECAUSE IT’S UNFATHOMABLE HOW A PERSON BENT ON DOING WHAT IS RIGHT BY SAYING THINGS THE WAY THEY ARE, SHOULD FACE SEVERE ATTACKS LAUNCHED BY HATERS OF TRUTH WHO ARE WILLING TO GO ANY LENGTH IN A BID TO SILENCE HIM / HER THIS IS INHUMANE AND UNFAIR.ANYWAYS, WHOM GOD HAS ENTHRONED, NO ONE CAN ENSLAVE PLEASE GO FOLLOW TUNDE EDNUT.”
