Miss Rivers, Nyekachi Douglas, has been crowned the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) 2019 at the 32nd edition held in Yenogoa, Bayelsa State on Friday night.
The 21-year-old, who hails from Ibaa in Emohua LGA of Rivers, was selected as winner at the event held at Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre.

Agbani Darego was the last beauty queen from Rivers to win the MBGN and also first black African to be crowned Miss World.
Nyekachi will represent Nigeria at the 69th edition of the Miss World pageant scheduled for December 14, 2019, at the ExCeL London in London, United Kingdom.
Miss Taraba, Olutosin Araromi, took the first runner-up position. She will represent Nigeria at the 68th edition of the Miss Universe competition in Seoul, South Korea.

The second runner-up, Miss Abuja, Pamela Ifejoku, will represent Nigeria at Miss ECOWAS contest.
Miss Edo, Akeelah Aminu, emerged third runner-up while Miss Bayelsa, Becky Ogene, took the fourth runner-up position.
