Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo, popularly known as RMD, has suggested that the Nigeria Customs Service donate seized food items to the needy who are on lockdown over the coronavirus crisis.
The 58-year-old suggested this on Instagram on Wednesday.
“Sitting here wondering if this won’t be a good time for the government to ask Customs about all the plenty seized rice, tomato, vegetable oil and all the other food items they have in their possession and give out to our people in need…,” he wrote.
RMD was appointed Special Adviser on Culture and Tourism to the then Governor of Delta State, Emmanuel Uduaghan in 2008.
Then in 2009, he was appointed the commissioner for Culture and Tourism of Delta State.
