Gunmen have allegedly killed a Nigerian who is said to have returned home after some 45 years in the United States.
Mutiu Agbosasa, said to be 72 years old, was reportedly killed on Monday in his Ikorodu residence, according to reports by relatives on social media.

The deceased’s bio on Facebook says he attended Ansar-udeen High School in Lagos before leaving for the US for further studies.
He was said to have lived in Brooklyn, New York for 45 years.
In the US, Mutiu attended Long Island University and worked at the City of New York Hospital and Metropolitan Hospital, Brooklyn, New York.
Baba Agbosasa, as he was fondly called, returned to the country a few years ago for his retirement.
Relatives have expressed shock at the demise of the man whom they referred to as kind-hearted.

“He lived and survived the most dangerous city in the world – New York City – but returned home recently only to be murdered before dawn in his dear native land,” Azuka Jebose wrote on Facebook.
The police are yet to speak on the alleged murder.
