Real Madrid forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, will travel with the team for the first leg of the Champions League semi-final clash against Manchester City after recovering from a thigh injury.
The 31-year-old Portugese missed the La Liga clash against Rayo Vallecano after being unable to recuperate fully from a thigh strain sustained during their 3-2 win over Villarreal on Wednesday.
Asides the Vallecano game, Ronaldo had played every league match this season and scored 47 goals in 44 matches.
Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane, confirming the news, said Ronaldo is doing well, adding that he would travel with the team for Manchester City clash: “He will travel to Manchester.”
Real Madrid, on the surge to win their 11th European crown, will play City at Etihad Stadium on Wednesday.
