Football superstars, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, are ranked highest paid athletes in the world according to popular American magazine, Forbes.
The rating is based on accumulated annual income consisting of salary, winnings and endorsements.
Both players who ply their trade in the Spanish top flight for Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively, were considered top of the list released on Wednesday.
Ronaldo, 31, a three-time FIFA World Footballer of the Year, takes home an annual pay of $88million, whereas rival, Messi, 28, earns about $7million lesser.
The duo who are the only football players in the top 10, are joined by American basketball icon, LeBron James, tennis king, Roger Federer, and Kevin Durant.
French Open champion, Novak Djokovic, American Football player, Cam Newton, golf duo, Phil Mickelson and Jordan Spieth and Kobe Bryant complete the top 10.
