Former colleagues at Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho both scooped prizes at the Portuguese football awards in Lisbon.
Ronaldo, 33, stunned on the red carpet alongside, girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez as he picked up the Quinas de Ouro award for the best Portuguese player.
Ronaldo, who has 37 goals in 35 matches this season, beat Manchester City star Bernardo Silva and Sporting CP keeper Rui Patricio to the gong.
The prize is only three years old – with Ronaldo, unsurprisingly, winning the award on every occasion.
Manchester United boss Mourinho – looking miserable as he was handed the prize – was given the Vasco de Gama award for “his work and his role as Portugal’s ambassador for excellence”.
Monaco coach, Leonardo Jardim, was given the award for best coach in men’s football.
There were also prizes for players and coaches in women’s football, futsal and beach soccer.
Ronaldo, who has won the Ballon d’Or a record five times along with Lionel Messi, is currently a 6/1 outsider to retain that coveted trophy.
Messi is the favourite, ahead of Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar.
However, the odds on Ronaldo have drastically shortened in recent weeks, with the Los Blancos star finding top form.
He’s scored 17 goals in his last eight games, including four against Girona at the weekend.
After picking up the award, he said: “It’s a beautiful moment, first of all for our [international] team-mates.
