Policemen have stormed Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, venue of a rally against the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.
The arrival of armed policemen threw the vicinity into raucous mood as nearby traders and commuters fled.
The group, under the aegis of the Orange Movement, converged at Oramiyan Hall in the hotel to make strategies on how to stop the APC Lagos governorship candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, from winning the governorship election on March 9.
Mr Sanwo-Olu has the backing of Tinubu.
Sources say the police stormed the rally because the group did not seek permission before staging the rally.
