Officers of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have rescued a woman who was defrauded of N47,000 at Alagbado area of Lagos State.
Tweeting on Wednesday, the RRS said its officers on patrol in the area met the woman wailing after being swindled.
The tweet read: “Our officers on patrol along Alagbado axis saw a woman crying and rolling on the floor. They approached her and inquired what the problem was and she told them she had just been swindled of the sum of N47,000 by passengers in a cab she boarded.”
The RRS further said the case has been handed over to Alagbado Police Station for investigation.
