Ruger, Rema, Shallipopi link up at Wireless Festival in London

Singer Michael Olayinka, famously known as Ruger, has been seen linking up with fellow artistes Shallipopi and Rema backstage.

In a video shared on Instagram on Sunday, Ruger is seen exchanging pleasantries with Shallipopi and engaging in a warm hug with Rema before they share a handshake.

The video was captioned “Ruger, Rema, Shallipopi, Zerry DI having fun backstage at the Wireless Festival.”

Another highlight from the festival includes Ruger’s appearance with DJ Cuppy in a segment titled ‘Quick Wire Questions.’

Seated with microphones in hand, DJ Cuppy encouraged Ruger to express his ambitions.

She said, “This is your chance to put yourself out there, you know shoot that shot. If you could work with any other artiste, I mean we have so many…”

Ruger promptly responded, “Doja Cat,” and DJ Cuppy replied, “Oh, he said it. He knows what he wants.”

The Wireless Festival, an annual celebration of rap and hip-hop, is owned and managed by Live Nation and has become a key event in London’s music scene.

The 2024 edition which ran from July 12 to July 14 saw the three artistes perform.
