Singer, Ruggedman, has jokingly called out his fans for not subscribing to his YouTube channel, even after he had begged them to do so.
The 44-year-old had on Thursday requested that 10 people subscribe to the channel.
Then on Friday, he shared a screenshot from a fan who said that the ‘Baraje’ singer deserves at least a million subscribers as he is a selfless person.
In reply, the singer whose real name is Ikechukwu Stephens, noted that he had only 300 subscribers so far despite having over 200,000 followers on Instagram.
He also pointed out that fans are more likely to interact with posts about giveaways .
“‘icekool_gregmd Unfortunately it isn’t so at this end. A lot of people only come to you when they need you, but when you need them some ask you to do giveaways. I have over 200k followers but have only gotten 300 subscribers. #shoutout to the subscribers, u guys are the real MVPs…,” he wrote.
In a video she shared on Instagram on May 26, comedian princess, similarly criticised her Instagram fans after getting less than 800 votes in a competition despite having over 70,000 followers on the platform.
She later made a U-turn on May 27, thanking her fans for voting for her after she had initially complained about it.
