Nigerian rapper, Ruggedman, and actress, Foluke Daramola-Salako, Friday took part in a campaign tagged Silence Is Not Golden: A walk Against Rape at the University of Lagos.
The anti- programme was organised by students of Moremi Hall at the Akoka-based University.
Joining the entertainers were President of Women Arise, Joe Okei-Odumakin; Moremi Hall Chairperson, Zainab Olaitan; Hall Mistress, Prof. Virgy Onyene, and Dean of Student Affairs Unilag, Prof. Tunde Babawale.
Foluke Daramola, who says she lost her virginity to a rapist at 17, runs a project called Passion Against Rape and Abuse in Africa (PARA).

Recounting his experience, Ruggedman said some male students said the girls should “dress proper” but the campaigners told the boys to “act proper”.
“Before you attempt rape, remember the females in your life. Remember your mother, sister, cousins, nieces and daughters,” he said in a message posted on Instagram.
Other celebrities that have walked against rape include Wunmi Obe, Dayo Amusa, Tayo Odueke and Ruby Gyang.
