Rap artiste, Ruggedman, has reacted to the news that a policeman killed a member of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in Anambra State.
Punch reported that the SARS operative was mistaken for a kidnapper.
In an Instagram post on Friday, Ruggedman lamented that if the Nigerian police cannot identify SARS operatives, “how else can a normal citizen do?”
Ruggedman, an advocate for the end SARS campaign, recently shared a video on how to identify fake SARS operatives.
He was, however, accused by Head of Police Compliant Rapid Respond Unit, Abayomi Shogunle of jumping ships, from scrapping SARS to reform SARS.
Shogunle’s comment didn’t sit well with Ruggedman and he called out the officer in a now-deleted Instagram post, saying, “Officer Yomi Shogunle I have heard about how incompetent and dubious you are but this disgraceful act of yours takes the cake.
“This baseless and fabricated post of yours just goes to show you are a shameless liar and a disgrace to the Nigerian police force.
