Rapper Ruggedman has remembered his colleague Dagrin 14 years after the latter’s death.
The 50-year-old shared a throwback video of Dagrin on his Instagram account on Wednesday in which he recollected his encounter with the rapper.
He wrote: “Late Da Grin in 2008 messing around with my camera the day we recorded “Emini” in lkeja. This is one death that really touched me. I remember crying while driving home that Thursday April 22nd not wanting to believe he was gone.
“Keep resting well bro. Lets all do our best to live good and take care of ourselves.
The Ogun-born rapper had a style that incorporated Yoruba, English and Pidgin English.
He died at age 25 in a car accident in Mushin, Lagos State on April 22.
The movie, Ghetto Dreamz, which is based on his life, was released in April 2011.
