Filmmaker Mildred Okwo has reacted to the rumoured crisis in actress Rita Dominic’s marriage.
In a Twitter post on Thursday, May 19, Mildred pointed out that those saying that Rita’s husband Fidelis Anosike has been cheating on her were spreading lies against him and maybe slammed with a defamation suit.
The filmmaker who is also Rita’s business partner retweeted a post that reported Rita’s silence over the alleged cheating scandal, warning that a lawsuit might be filed against the person who reported the story.
“If they file a lawsuit against you now for defamation for spreading lies about people, you will call them wicked,” she wrote.
This came days after another blogger Gistlover claimed that Rita’s husband had an affair with two of her best friends who attended her traditional wedding.
The faceless gossip blog alleged that Fidelis Anosike was involved with some undisclosed Nollywood stars alongside Rita Dominic before finally settling down with the latter.
The blog revealed the initials of the ladies Fidelis allegedly had sexual relationships with, claiming that their initials were letters I and U.
Reacting to the speculation, many who believed that the letter U stands for Uche Jombo stormed the comment section of her Instagram posts and asked her to clarify the rumour.
Responding to the accusation, Uche urges the blogger to reveal the real names of those involved so she can be left alone.
“It will be lovely to tell your people who you are talking about so they can leave my page in peace,” she wrote.
Rita and Fidelis got married in Aboh Mbaise Owerri Imo State on Tuesday April 19.
