Musicians Saheed Osupa, KS1 Malaika and Shefiu Alao have joined many in the entertainment industry in mourning Pasuma’s mother.
Pasuma announced the death of his mum Adijat Kuburat aka Iyawo Anobi on Thursday night via Instagram.
He shared a photo of himself and her and wrote: “My jewel, I will miss you forever! Words fail me. Rest in power and peace, please watch over me from heaven.”
Saheed Osupa, who is also bereaved following the loss of his saxophonist Sule Sax, prayed that Allah would forgive her shortcomings.
“O Allah, forgive our mother and elevate her station among those who are guided.
“Send her along the path of those who came before, and forgive her of all shortcomings,” he wrote, praying further that Allah would be with Pasuma.
KS1 Malaika wrote, “May your soul Rest In Peace mama. @officialpasuma and the rest of the family, let’s take heart, may almighty Allah grant her aljana fidaus.”
Shefiu Alao wrote, “My friend @officialpasuma, I solemnly commiserate with you on the passing of our dearest mum. May Almighty Allah grant her Aljanat Firdaus. Please take heart ore mi.”
Actor Saidi Balogun also prayed for the repose of her soul.
“May her soul rest in perfect peace,” he wrote.
Fans and entertainers have flooded the comment section of Pasuma’s post to condole with him.
“May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Deepest condolences,” comedian Mr Macaroni wrote.
Actor Yinka Quadri condoled with the singer, saying, “May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”
