Fuji Musician Saheed Osupa on Friday showered praises on Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III the Alaafin of Oyo to celebrate his 83rd birthday.
The 51-year-old penned down words in Yoruba on Instagram to celebrate the Oba.
“Adéyemí obán’lá lamidi atanda Epínrín bàbá aṣọ layiwola. Alarí ní bàbá ẹwù l’ode ọ. Ikú Káàkàn ọtá, kàákan ẹtu. Káàkàn ìkádésí ọba Adéyemí óò lamidi olayiwola,” he wrote in parts.
The Oba’s wives also celebrated him. In an Instagram post,
Olori Memunat Adeyemi called the Alaafin her ‘demigod’ and ‘super hero’.
“I need to let you know again and again that you are one of God’s most elegant creatures for great exploits and manifestations,” she wrote.
Olori Memunat also prayed for good health for her husband, adding that he made her a “noticeable woman in the society.”
The Alaafin has more than 10 wives, many children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Some of his other wives include Olori Rahamat, Olori Rukayat, Olori Aishat, Olori Badirat, Olori Ganiyat, Olori Mariam, Olori Anuoluwapo and Olori Damilola.
