Veteran Yoruba actor and producer, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, was on Tuesday celebrated by his colleagues in the movie industry as he clocked 58.
Ogogo was born in Ilaro, a town in Ogun State, on October 31, 1959 to the family of late Subair Akande Taiwo and Alimot Ayinke Taiwo at Akinnikuolu Compound.
The actor started his primary education at Christ Church School, Ilaro, then advanced to Gaskiya College and later attended Yaba Technical College in Lagos, where he trained as an automobile mechanic.
He began acting in 1981 shortly after he got a job at the water corporation as an auto mechanic.
In 1994 he retired from his auto-mechanic job at the water corporation company to fully concentrate on acting in Nollywood.
Ogogo has featured in several movies like Òmìn in 2008, Bolode o’ku in 2009 and Obinrin Sowanu in 2004, amongst others.
He is married to two women and blessed with children.
