Actress Stephanie Okereke Linus has described the death of her colleague Saint Obi as “shocking” and “heartbreaking”.
Stephanie starred alongside Saint Obi in several movies in the 2000s.
The former model said on Sunday via Instagram that she was sad to hear the news of his death.
“This is truly shocking and heartbreaking. Losing someone you know and have worked with can be incredibly difficult. I have worked with Saint on several movies, and it is so sad to hear of his passing.
“May God give his family the strength to bear this loss and endure the difficult times. Your work and impact will always be remembered. Rest in peace, Saint,” Stephanie said.
Saint Obi died last Sunday in Jos, Plateau State at the age of 57. The movie star suffered an undisclosed ailment for several years before his death.
News of his demise was confirmed on Saturday, nearly one week after the incident. Disagreement among his family was said to have caused the delay in announcing his death.
