Nike Adeyemi, wife of the senior pastor of Daystar Christian Centre Sam Adeyemi, has dissociated herself from a so-called online investment platform Crowd 1.
Adeyemi said in an Instagram post on Thursday that she is not the convener and administrator of Crowd 1 Nigeria or Crowd 1 Bitcoin Telegram.
“The association of my name with this platform is fraudulent as I do not have any relationship with it in any form whatsoever and the usage of my name, photographs or the name of my husband, Pastor Sam Adeyemi or his pictures in connection with this purported investment platform is meant to deceive members of the public,” she said.
Nike added that she had instructed her lawyers to lodge a complaint against the impersonators with the police.
“Please do not patronise or invest your money in these fraudulent schemes,” she said.
