Gospel singer Sammie Okposo will be embarking on another trip to the United States of America.
The 50-year-old made this known in an Instagram story on Wednesday.
The singer announced that he will be attending and performing at the 2022 Soar Gospel Awards.
Sharing a poster of the event, he wrote: “Chicago Rockford IL USA. This coming Monday. March 7th 2022. Honoured and grateful to God to be invited to rep Africa for this one.”
This comes a month after the singer received online backlashes after he publicly confessed to cheating on his wife with a woman he met on his visit to the United States for a gospel concert.
Qed.ng had reported that the music star suspended himself from ministry after he publicly apologised to his wife and family over the infidelity scandal.
On his return to social media some weeks back, the singer took down the apology post, and made his account public again, adding that he was no longer being controlled by the flesh and only Jesus had the power to judge him.
