Founder and chairman of Doyin Group of Companies Samuel Adedoyin has bagged a honorary doctorate degree at Lagos State University (LASU).
The businessman was decorated with the honour at the university’s 27th convocation ceremony on Thursday.
Last month, Adedoyin donated a multimillion-naira information communications technology building to the institution.
Adedoyin’s daughter Olori Sola Adedoyin-Alao said in an Instagram post on Thursday that it was her father’s fifth honorary doctorate this year.
“A year of degrees and honours. Another Doctorate in for my Father. Lord, I am grateful 🙏🏽 🥲. The fifth one this year,” she wrote.
In February, Adedoyin was named chancellor of Trinity University, Yaba, Lagos at the varsity’s maiden convocation.
