Ex-Cameroon skipper, Samuel Eto’o, has completed a move to Konyaspor – his 12th club since turning pro in 1997.
Eto’o, 36, was previously on the payroll of fellow Turkish side, Antalyaspor.
During his two-and-a-half year spell there, he struck 44 league goals.
Eto’o’s capture will boost Konyaspor’s battle against relegation, with his new side second-bottom in the Super Lig table, a place behind his former employers.
After joining Real Madrid as a teenager, the 36-year-old has enjoyed a colourful career, particularly at Barcelona and Inter Milan.
He’s also had stints at Chelsea, Everton, Sampdoria, Anzhi and Mallorca.
Eto’o is undoubtedly Africa’s most decorated player of all-time.
Amongst several honours, he has won the African Player of the Year award a record four times: in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2010.
He was third in the FIFA World Player of the Year award in 2005.
