Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Sunday attended a bi-annual faith revival programme organised by The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement led by its general overseer Pastor Lazarus Muoka.
The governor was represented by his chief of staff Tayo Ayinde.
According to Sanwo-Olu, the prayer being said by all the mega churches in Lagos contribute to the peace being enjoyed in the state.
The programme, which was held at the church’s headquarters in Ijesha, Lagos with the theme ‘And the Enemies Submitted’, attracted worshippers from within and outside Nigeria.
Sanwo-Olu expressed hope that more prayer will attract divine intervention to make the state better.
He promised that his administration would continue to provide an enabling environment for businesses to flourish.
“As a government, our policies will remain people-oriented. It is our duty to engender policies that will make people to attain self-actualisation.
“The church, since its inception, has remained a rallying destination for upliftment of souls,” he said.
