Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is celebrating his chief of staff Tayo Ayinde on his birthday.
Mr Sanwo-Olu said in an Instagram post on Monday that he was well pleased to have Mr Ayinde as chief of staff, praying for blessings on him.
“Today, I celebrate an indefatigable, quintessential Gentleman, a man of integrity, diligence, and a model of excellence. One whom I’m well pleased to call my Chief of Staff. Mr. Tayo Ayinde,” he wrote.
“The ‘Buffalo’ as he is fondly called, served as my campaign DG and today he is the powerhouse that helps ensure governance in Lagos operates smoothly at all levels.
“To our dear Buffalo, here’s wishing you the very best as you celebrate your birthday. May the good Lord continue to bless and keep you. Amen.”
Ayinde was the director-general of Babajide Sanwo-Olu Campaign Group (BOSCO) for 2019 general elections.
He was also chairman of the inauguration committee charged with ensuring the smooth transition of power from Akinwunmi Ambode to Sanwo-Olu.
Ayinde had previously served as chief security detail of former governor and now national leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu.
