Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has signed the 2019 Appropriation Bill of N873.5 billion into law.
Mr Sanwo-Olu, on Monday, signed the bill into law alongside three other bills at the Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja.
This comes more than a month after the Lagos State House of Assembly passed the bill presented to it by immediate past governor, Akinwunmi Ambode.
Sanwo-Olu assured the state’s residents that all the machinery of the government would be deployed to implement the budget.
He also said the budget would focus on the completion of abandoned projects in the state.
The governor said he was confident that the budget would increase the standard of living of Lagosians.
