Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday gave the names of survivors of the collapsed 21-storey building in Ikoyi who are undergoing treatment at the Lagos Marina Hospital.
The survivors were pulled out from the rubble after the high-rise building came crashing down on Monday. Rescue efforts are still ongoing.
Addressing the press during his second visit to the site, Mr Sanwo-Olu said six of the nine survivors are undergoing treatment while three have been discharged.
Sanwo-Olu revealed the survivors as follows: Odutan Timileyin, 26; Ahmed Kenleku, 19, from Cotonou, Benin Republic; Sunday Monday, 21, (suffered a leg fracture).
Others are Adeniran Mayowa, 37, (suffered hip injury); Shola Nurudeen, 33, (pelvic injury) and Waliu Lateef, 32.
Sanwo-Olu stated that three survivors had been discharged, but did not specify their gender or give any further information about them.
