Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Sunday paid a condolence visit to the Senior Pastor of Trinity House, Ituah ighodalo, over the death of his wife, Ibidun.
The governor was accompanied on the visit by top government officials.
Mr Sanwo-Olu said in a post on social media about his visit that although words are not “strong enough to comfort someone on the death of their loved one. But we would continue to commit them unto the hands of God who is the ultimate healer and comforter.”
He added: “My prayer is that Mrs. Ibidun Ighodalo rests in peace, and that God continues to abide with Pastor Ituah and their loved ones. Amen.”
Mrs Ighodalo died early Sunday from suspected cardiac arrest in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
She was 40 years old and had only recently celebrated 13 years of marriage to the Lagos-based pastor.
