Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has picked the nomination and expression of interest forms for the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
A member of the House of Representatives, representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, James Faleke, picked the forms on Friday at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
Faleke, who also picked presidential expression of interest and nominations forms for APC national leader, Bola Tinubu, was accompanied by former secretary to the government of the federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, and hundreds of members of the Tinubu Support Groups (TSG) to the party’s secretariat.
Sanwo-Olu was personally presented the forms at the Lagos Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja by his chief of staff Tayo Ayinde.
Sanwo-Olu recently got the backing of the Lagos APC apex leadership body, Governance Advisory Council (GAC) for a second term.
