Lagos State Govenor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has visited the scene of the helicopter crash at Opebi area of the state.
The governor was taken round the scene of the crash on Saturday by the Director-General of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) Femi Oke-Osanyintolu.
Mr Sanwo-Olu also visited the owners of the residential buildings where the helicopter crashed.
He told the land owners – Comfort Adeniyi-Johnson and Oluyemisi Olugbode – the state would foot the bill for whatever was damaged by the crash.
Sanwo-Olu commiserated with families of victims of the crash and also those whose properties were affected, as well as others staying in the neigbourhood.
He thanked God for saving their lives and assured them of his administration’s support.
The Bell 206-3 helicopter belonging to Quorum Aviation had taken off from Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Three people on board died.
