Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Thursday paid a condolence visit to rights activist Joe Okei-Odumakin widow of the late Afenifere spokesman Yinka Odumakin.
Mr Sanwo-Olu paid a visit to Okei-Odumakin at the family’s Lagos residence.
Tweeting about the governor’s visit, his chief press secretary Gboyega Akosile wrote: “Governor @jidesanwoolu paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Yinka Odumakin. He was received by Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin.”
Odumakin died on April 2 at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital Covid isolation centre.
Okei-Odumakin had in a statement on Monday said her late husband would be buried on April 24.
She also said the funeral rites would span across three days – starting from Thursday, April 22 through Friday 23 and Saturday 24, 2021.
