Gawat Jubril senior special assistant on new media to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Monday called on youth leaders to handle matters calmly following a clash between Seun Kuti and partygoers on Saturday.
Gunshots were fired in the scuffle after party attendees blocked the entrance to Seun’s house in Ikeja, Lagos.
Although he did not mention Seun by name, Mr Jubril tweeted: “Small argument … U are using Gun and noise to scatter everywhere .. Tougher issues are resolved in the hood almost every day without lifting a single finger… YOOT Leader .. Ishon Ko lo fin she.”
“Make una Dey calm down … It’s not by gra gra,” he added.
After a Twitter user knocked Seun over the incident, Jubril said it was typical of Seun.
“LOOOOL … That’s his normal behaviour abeg … Nobody should be make it a big deal,” he wrote.
During a live session on Instagram on Sunday, Seun said his life was threatened during the altercation.
Although he confirmed there were gunshots, the musician denied being the one who took the shots.
