Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, wife of Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday shared on social media interesting photos of herself and husband to mark his 59th birthday.
The first photo in the series posted has the governor and wife posing for the camera in unusual ways.
The second photo shows Sanwo-Olu and wife making the love symbol with their hands at a 2024 programme organised by Lagos State Government’s Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
Mrs Sanwo-Olu captioned her post, “Happy 59th birthday to my beloved husband, my friend and cherished father to our children!
“May this special day overflow with joy, laughter, and blessings. May God honor and watch over you every day of your life.
“Àduragbemi, May you always be happy and safe. Continue to bask in the goodness of God!”
Lagos State Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat wrote on social media, “59 Hearty Cheers!! To a selfless, hardworking, dependable and indefatigable friend, Brother, Team mate and partner.
“You are the true definition of grace. Your passion for service is admirable and worthy of emulation.
“On behalf of my family, I wish you the very best on this special day and many more years to come. May Almighty Allah continue to direct your path, grant you favour, and bless you with long life. Ameen. Happy Birthday Mr. Governor.”
The celebrant wrote on social media that he was grateful for the opportunity to make positive impact on the people.
“Today, I turn 59. As I mark this special day, I am thankful for the amazing journey that has led me to this moment. Being the Governor of Lagos State is an immense privilege, and I am grateful for the chance to make a positive impact in the lives of our citizens.
