Former Senate President Bukola Saraki arrived Ilorin, Kwara State capital on Saturday for the eighth anniversary prayer of his late father Olusola Saraki.
Saraki is also in the capital for the silver jubilee anniversary of the coronation of the Emir of Ilorin Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari.
Saraki was welcomed by a huge crowd of supporters at the Ilorin International Airport.
Thereafter, he arrived his family’s GRA residence where the Chief Imam of Ilorin Muhammad Bashir led the prayers.
“I thank everyone that came out to support our family today as we held the 8th anniversary prayers for our late father, Oloye, Dr. Abubakar Olusola Saraki,” he said.
Also present is his younger sister who is the minister of state for transport Gbemisola Saraki.
