Former Senate President Bukola Saraki has eulogised his father, Olusola Saraki, who died on November 14, 2012.
Kwarans gathered on Thursday at the late Saraki’s residence on Ilofa Road, GRA, Ilorin, popularly known as ‘Ile Arugbo’ to mark the 7th anniversary of his death.

Saraki, however, in a tweet on Thursday said his father lived to impact positively in the life of everyone he met.
“Today marks the 7th anniversary of the passing away of my dad, Dr. Abubakar Olusola Saraki. His was a life well-lived with the simple objective of positively impacting the lives of everyone he encountered,” he wrote.

“Oloye, we miss you. Everyday. I pray Allah continues to sustain for you a place in Aljannah Firdaus. Amen,” the former Senate President added.
Saraki died in Ikoyi, Lagos aged 79 after losing a battle with cancer.
He was buried in Ilorin, Kwara State.
