Former Senate President Bukola Saraki and his family on Monday celebrated their matriarch Florence Saraki on her 87th birthday.
The in-house party saw the family come together to celebrate the octogenarian.
On Tuesday, Saraki posted a video on social media of the small gathering held in celebration of Mama Florence.
He said, “Yesterday, we celebrated 87 extraordinary years of my inspiring mother, Chief (Mrs) Florence Morenike Saraki! We love you Mama!”️
In an Instagram message on Monday, Saraki’s wife Toyin quoted Proverbs 31:31, “Honour her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.”
She added, “A very Happy 87th Birthday to my dear Mother-In-Love, who exemplifies womanhood as leader, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
“Today, as I reflect on Mama Saraki’s incredible and accomplished life, I feel an abundance of gratitude and love, for Mama is indeed the graceful matriarchal energy that guides the family.
“I pray for healthy and happy years ahead, and wish Mama a very special day.”
