Former Senate President Bukola Saraki has received a surprise cake to mark his 57th birthday.
The former Kwara State governor was waylaid by his aides midnight Thursday and made to cut a cake.

His wife, Toyin Saraki, shared videos of the memorable moments on Instagram.
Congratulatory messages have been pouring in for Saraki on social media.
Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, wrote on Twitter: “I celebrate my dear brother & friend, Dist. Sen @bukolasaraki on his 57th birthday. You have consistently demonstrated unwavering patriotism & abiding faith in the unity, peace & progress of #Nigeria both in words & action. I wish you God’s blessings & protection in years ahead.”
Former Senator Shehu Sani also wrote on Twitter: “Happy 57th Birthday to our indefatigable former Senate President @bukolasaraki. Your Excellency, it’s Senator @dino_melaye that advised that we shouldn’t patronize your clinic for medical consultation except for political consultation. Wishing you the best in the years ahead.”
