The Senate has asked two ministerial nominees, Gbemisola Saraki and Muhammad Mahmoud to ‘take a bow’ and go.
They were asked to take their leave without questioning on resumption of ministerial screening on Monday.
The term ‘take a bow’ is reserved for nominees who are former members of the National Assembly, allowing them to simply bow before the lawmakers and leave without being questioned.
Mahmoud was asked to take a bow for being an ex-state lawmaker. He was also the chairman of Buhari Support Organisation (Kaduna).
Saraki was asked to take a bow for being a former senator.
The immediate past Minister of State for Aviation, Hadi Sirika, was part of those who enjoyed the privilege last week.
Sirika is a former senator from Katsina State.
