Former Senate President Bukola Saraki and wife Toyin Saraki on Friday celebrated former chief of army staff Lt. Gen. Theophilus Danjuma (retd) aka TY Danjuma on his 84th birthday.
The couple sent him goodwill messages via Instagram.
Mrs Saraki wrote, “A Very Happy 85th birthday to Lt. Gen. TY Danjuma (rtd), an exceptional leader and respected philanthropist today.
“As former Chief of Army Staff and Minister of Defence, Lt. General Danjuma’s dedication to Nigeria’s safety and security, and its global standing is tremendous.
“Thank you for your continued commitment to enhancing the quality of life of all Nigerians through the TY Danjuma Foundation. Your contribution to family health through endowed hospitals established in Taraba and Edo States are improving access to health for generations of communities to come. Wishing you many more blessed and joyous years in the protection of Almighty God!”
Saraki wrote, “I join all Nigerians to celebrate our great statesman, General TY Danjuma, as he celebrates his 84th birthday.
