Former Senate President Bukola Saraki and his wife Toyin Saraki on Saturday paid tributes to the late Dapo Ojora on the first anniversary of his death.
Born in 1962, Dapo who was fondly called Baba Polo and Dog Whisperer, died on December 11, 2020, after a shooting incident at his Ikoyi, Lagos home. He was Mrs Saraki’s older brother.
“Today, my family and I remember Dapo Ojora, my dear brother-in-law who passed away exactly one year ago,” Saraki noted in an Instagram post.
“As we hold on to the fondest memories of Dapo, we will all continue to celebrate his life and the enormous impact that he had on everyone around him. We miss you, bro.”
Mrs Saraki said a prayer for her brother. “O Lord, grant unto the soul of Thy servant, Dearly Beloved Dapo, the anniversary of whose journey we are keeping, a place of solace, of peaceful rest, of glorious light,” she wrote on Instagram.
Dapo was buried at the Vaults and Gardens, Ikoyi, Lagos on December 22, 2020.
He was the second son of corporate guru Adekunle Ojora to die within 10 years. Adegboyega Ojora aka Gbegi died on April 10, 2011.
